1.1 Membership
and attendance
Self-introductions were made, attendance taken, and it was determined
that a quorum was present.
1.2 Approval
of the Agenda
The Committee unanimously accepted the Agenda as presented.
1.3 Approval
of the Minutes
The Committee unanimously accepted the Minutes of the last meeting as
written.
1.4 Correspondence
No correspondence was received.
1.5 Review of
the Committee's scope
The Committee's scope is to publish and maintain mechanical outlines
for passive electronic parts and other related devices under Committee-developed
rules governing the preparation of these outlines.
2 Old business
The three documents to be voted in accordance with the Agenda were tabled
until the next meeting due to sufficient time for review of the documents.
3 New business
An active discussion ensued on the availability of free PDP-100 information
on the ECA web site.
An active discussion ensued on the usefulness of PDP-100 information.
Mr. Krystek felt that unlinked information is worthless since IBM is
electronically tied to databases. It was also pointed out the governing
document is out-of-date. The outline should be linked to standards that
apply.
4 Selection of
next meetings
Mr. Greenidge proposed to have a follow-up telephone meeting (approx.
one month from today) to discuss the viability of the present and future
representation of passive components.
5 Adjournment
The Committee moved, seconded, and unanimously agreed to adjourn at

This meeting was conducted in accordance with the EIA legal guidelines
and the manual of organization and procedures.
