2.6 DSCC Report
Pat Kayne from Defense Supply Center Columbus reviewed the list of revised documents relating to resistors. A copy of the revised documents is attached. A handout of MIL-STD-202G Method 303 (Proposed Revision A) DC Resistance was also passed out reflecting a proposed change in the DC resistance measurement temperature. A copy of the document is attached.

3.0 Old Business
3.1 Review ESD tests in EIA/IS-703 and compare to AEC-Q200 Rev B matrix. Also compare IEC-801 - Dave Ritchey
Dave presented a comparison between EIA/IS-703, AEC-Q200-002 (Automotive Electronics Council Spec) and IEC-801 which refers to IEC 1000-4-2. All of the test methods were very similar the only real difference was the acceptance criteria. The AEC and IEC specifications both state "Per Users Spec" - while the EIA/IS-703 specification calls for a delta R of 0.25%. The committee unanimously voted to modify EIA/IS-703 to state "Per Users Spec" instead of the 0.25% delta R. Along with the change in the specification it will be reformatted and forwarded to EIA as an EIA standard. KOA will take the responsibility of getting EIA/IA-703 converted into an electronic specification for ease of updating. Chairman Brian Piscitelli will also formally request a PN number from EIA in order to properly track the change.

3.2 Addition of 0402 and 0201 (and other additions/corrections) to EIA-575-A and EIA-576-A - Brian Piscitelli
The committee reviewed various updates to both EIA-575 and EIA-576, the additions were mostly dimensional, tolerance and TCR updates. Ted Coler from Vishay has volunteered to review the test specifications of both specifications and bring them up to date and align them with MIL-STD-202.

3.3 Review and addition of Resistor outlines to the newly formatted/web-based PDP-100 - Brian Piscitelli
PDP-100 contains most of the standard case sizes already - once the updates of EIA-575 and 576 is completed the newly updated dimensions will be forwarded to PDP-100 for updates.
